RPX E-commerce Seminar – Chicago

This seminar comprises two presentations that will offer a n inclusive perspective on NPE activity affecting E-commerce companies.

The first presentation will provide in-house teams with a comprehensive background into the trends affecting NPE E-commerce litigation including: sources of litigations, retail functionalities being targeted, M-Commerce, the effect of the America Invents Act, and a case by case review of key ongoing NPE litigations to facilitate understanding of risk, costs and strategies.

We will go on to provide cost benchmarking and projections for the E-commerce sector.  This presentation, aimed at legal and financial teams, is broken out into two parts: a discussion of three-year historical frequency and costs of NPE cases for online retail companies, and a framework for projection of sector costs over the next year.  Finally, we will address RPX’s proposed solution for managing this risk.
